The traditional man's kilt is made from an 8 yard length of tartan. There are three styles of pleating:

Man's Kilt - 8 & 9 yard length - 11 & 13 oz (medium weight) - 426 Tartans available $500; add $50 for kilts with waists over 46"

Man's Kilt - 8 yard length - 16 & 17oz (heavy weight) - Double Wide Strome/K1 - All registered tartans available $550; add $50 for kilts with waists over 46"

Man's Kilt - 9 yard length - 16 & 17oz (48 inch circumference or greater) - Strome/K1 - All registered tartans available $650

Special Woven Tartan Kilt - $600 - 11 and 16 oz

Breacan Feile - 5 Yards - The precursor to the kilt, made from 5 yards of double wide tartan. The bottom half is worn pleated and held in place by a belt forming the kilt. The upper half is draped over the shoulder and fastened with a brooch. Ann Stewart has modified this style to contain hand sewn pleats, 8 belt loops and leather thongs at each side of the apron to make dressing and wearing easy. $350
